• This program focuses on operating imaging equipment used to diagnose diseases accurately and safely.
• Students gain knowledge and hands-on training in X-ray, Ultrasound, CT Scan, MRI, and other imaging procedures, along with patient care, radiation safety, and imaging ethics.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates who have completed 10 th pass or 10+2 / Higher Secondary from a recognized board are eligible to apply for the Diploma in Medical imaging Technology (DMIT) course.
  • Students from any subject background (Science / Arts / Commerce) are eligible.
  • Candidates must be medically fit.
  • Students without a science background will receive basic foundation training during the course.

Curriculum Structure – Diploma in Medical Imaging Technology (DMIT)

  • The DMIT program follows a structured year-wise academic system combining foundation subjects, core laboratory sciences, practical training, and internship is mandatory .

First Year – Foundation (Common for All Diploma Health Courses)

  • The First Year includes basic science subjects that are common for all diploma healthcare courses.
  • These subjects build a strong academic foundation for professional studies.

Internship / Clinical Training:

  • A mandatory hospital internship is included as part of the curriculum.

During internship, students receive hands-on training in radiology departments and gain practical exposure to real-time imaging procedures.
